‘Orange tea with frank and bob’ is an indoor/outdoor three piece table and chairs setting.

Designed with an environmental conscience, the setting is constructed from discarded shopping

trolleys . This greatly reduces landfill and energy required to break them down.

Orange tea is a wry comment on consumerism. The name ‘Orange tea with frank and bob’  evolved

as a paradoxical social statement in reaction to NSW government action which saw thousands of

employees from the Orange grove shopping centre, Sydney, loose their jobs due to poor zoning

enforcement.

Insider negotiations between Westfields’ boss ‘Frank’ Lowy and the NSW premier ‘Bob’ Carr

supposedly occurred. The topic at hand was to close Orange grove shopping centre for the benefit of a nearby Westfields.
